My friends would say that I like to make jokes and laugh a lot, that I am informal but polite and have a lot of interest in people. I also have a serious side and I´m very interesed in other countries and cultures. Í like hanging out with friends to have a chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Inspired by a book I read about couch surfing in Iran 🇮🇷. Seems like a totally different way to see a country.

Interests

I like travelling for, if possible, a period longer than a regular holiday. Pro-longed travels give a sense of freedom. Every year I try to go on a ski trip and visit the Milan design week. At home I like to visit a museum or go to the movies, read a book or watch tv. I have friends in different parts of the Netherlands, so I try to vist them during the weekend. Also going out for dinner is a favorite. I volunteer at the International Filmfestival in Rotterdam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I biked in the valley of Kathmandu, I was on the radio in Johannesburg when I visited an upstart commercial radio station geared towards young black South Africans, took care of two cats and two dogs at a Buddhist retreat centre in South Africa while also helping out with their social media strategy and met people who lived a couple of blocks from my appartment back home at the other side of the world.
