ABOUT ME

I am a single dad living next door to my son's mum so we can co-parent effectively. I also split my time between Melbourne and King island, an island in the middle of Bass Strait, where I have land by the sea with a little cabin and several spare caravans that are open to share.
I work as a management consultant, occasionally, a life coach & relationship counsellor, and strive for a balanced lifestyle with time to chill and enjoy.
I love to explore different people's views of the world, what motivates people, what gets them stuck and how we rise above the blocks, learning techniques to support people to be and explore who they are as they become who they want to be.

PHILOSOPHY

The meaning of life is the meaning we give it.
Its not what happens but what we do with it that creates our life.
There is always a choice, if only in how we perceive things.
The highest choice is to let go and trust, flow with your inner guidance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare attic room, not yet throughly insulated so a little chilly in winter and hot on the hottest of days, but only 3 minutes walk to the train station and 12 minutes to the city.
I have a 5 year old son i want to expose to lots of different cultures and ideally help him learn some languages, especially Spanish, Chinese and Indonesian.
I also have land on King island, in Bass Strait that people are welcome to camp on.

New to internet couch surfing but have done a lot informally when I was travelling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Circomnavigate the world several times backpacking by myself.
Found a costal block of land on an island and built a house on it, by myself, with no electicity.
Stay at home Dad with my son.
