To learn and teach as much as I can about other people, cultures, religions, and ways of life as I can, and have a great time doing it!

ABOUT ME

My friends always say that I'm one of the most kind and caring people they know. I'm the kind of person that is very outgoing and willing to help out my friends however I can. I have a big heart for people and for animals. I have a great sense of humor and my friends will tell you I'm always able to make them laugh. I love life and try to live it to the fullest every day.

Interests

I'm an outdoor enthusiast. I grew up on a farm and have spent most of my time outside for as long as I can remember. I'm no stranger to hard work and I don't mind it. I actually find hard work very satisfying and fulfilling. I am and will be a life long student and educator. I absorb knowledge like a sponge and I also have a tendency to spread that knowledge to the people around me, even if they don't necessarily want it. I'm a teacher so my free time is practically non-existent, but in the summer and when I do have time, I enjoy movies and the cinema, photography, reading a good book, spending time with friends, and playing card games. I have a green thumb so when I can I'm working in the garden, and/or working with the animals on the farm. There is something very satisfying about watching something grow and tending to it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoying the superhero/comic book movies. I like a good action movie and thrillers. I really enjoy sci-fi outer space movies. The movie Contact is one of my all time favorite movies. Batman would have to be my favorite superhero. I like all kinds of music. Something that has a good beat and rhythm. I will read just about anything but enjoy horror stories and good thrillers. I also enjoy the classics. My two favorite American authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald and Edgar Allen Poe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The very first time that I saw the Eiffel Tower! It was an amazing site. The second would be seeing La Pieta in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. It was an incredibly spiritual moment for me. The third would be watching a sandstorm come across the Mediterranean and then dumping all the sand and rain on Nice. It was a very awe-inspiring site but a little terrifying too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty good at building things, mostly out of lumber but I have been known to build other things. I have a pretty good eye for photography. I have a wide knowledge about animals and plants. I can grow just about anything from a seed and I can raise and care for just about any animal. I'm pretty good with electronics/computers too.
