About Me
Personality:
I am a fun loving, beer drinking, deep thinking, sports nut who can find the joy in almost anything. I'm really adaptable and all about experiencing as much as I can when traveling. I try to live life to fullest by constantly stepping outside of my comfort zone and I'm always looking for awesome people to meet on the way.
Resume:
I am a Biomedical Engineer working in San Diego California. I recently graduated with my Master's Degree from Boston University. Grew up in New England.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to experience a new culture is through the people and that is why I'm couch surfing. I want to know what your story is and how the city you lived in helped to craft that. Interesting in going to bars, restaurants, sight seeing, or just talking.
I lived in Germany for a year back in 2012 for a study abroad program and absolutely loved the experience. Living in a new country is my favorite way to experience a new culture. Unfortunately, I can't do that for every country I want to visit (atleast not yet....) so I chose to live vicariously through the people that have haha!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran a half marathon.
Did a triathlon.
Completed a Beerathlon.
Snowboarded on the Alps
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer you perhaps a less than common story from America. I've lived on both coasts of the States so I can really speak on the differences between the two and maybe provide some insight into the crazy things that have been going on for the past few years. I've also been working in bio-engineering field and have had many unique experiences with that. From conducting neuroscience experiments to working in the operating room of hospitals to growing blood vessels with 3D printers to growing protein crystals, I've really ran the gamut. I also love going out, eating and drinking so would be a great social buddy.
