ABOUT ME

I am a polite and friendly young man with a passion for meeting new people. I am training to be a chef and so will happily try to cook for anyone and everyone. Loving to eat goes hand in hand with that. I see every person as an equal and never make snap judgements on anyone , because I never know when I meet someone new if they are having a hard day. So a first impression will never tell me enough about someone. People are there to be fascinated by, loved and appreciated for everything that makes them 'them', and there is nothing more important than meeting and being fascinated by new people.

Interests

I love literature, particularly the funny and surreal worlds of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I like writing short comics about things that trouble me as it helps me to make sense of them, and I love writing little rhymes about whatever I see or hear. I also love the 'Talking Heads' and instrumental hip-hop (I think all the talk about guns and violence somewhat spoils what is actually a very relaxing genre of music, although there are some decent, eloquent artists with messages of love and issues that matter).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Both of my siblings getting married. I spent my entire formative years grinding and grating against these other children who my parents decided on creating for me to have someone to argue with, then one day I'm left dumbstruck by the fact they have tricked another soul into having them around forever. In all seriousness, I love them both and their wedding days were 2 of the happiest of my entire life.

5 teenagers coming to help me when I was confronted by 2 men demanding my phone and wallet. As one punched me, 3 young girls and 2 boys came over and began screaming at them, scaring them away. The fact that they were younger than me, and even younger than the men, amazed me and restored my faith in people. For every monster we bump into, there's a saint not far behind ready to pick us up or help us smile again.
