About Me

CURRENT MISSION

viva la vida/el mundo es un barrio

ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old, Im originally from nepal but have been living in New Zealand for the last few years. In August 2014 I moved to Japan on the JET program which is a cultural and educational exchange. I have been working and living in Imari City in Saga Prefecture in Kyushu. I have been having a great time so far. My Japanese is really basic and I find it quite difficult to get around but its getting better.

I have been spending my time learning Japanese, going on bike rides in my neighborhood, going to restaurants and have also joined a local music school where I study the piano. I also keep myself busy studying French, Portuguese and Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

- I believe travel and meeting people from other cultures and races is vital to building a better more peaceful and progressive world
- You only live once, so take the chances you get
- I live life in search of love, friendship, happiness and fun times
- I want to make a positive contribution the community I live in through my work and actions

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy cooking, mixing drinks, playing music and going on outdoor adventures. When I host people I make sure I have time off work so that I can personally show them around my city and introduce my hosts to my friends and family. I like to take my hosts to parties, concerts or any other fun events that are on. I really enjoy learning about the hosts country, language, family, culture, hobbies and interests. I like to talk about art, music, politics, history, economics, movies and things of that nature.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

awesomee!!!!! I really enjoy it. I think I have really had the opportunity to meet local people and understand how they live better and I am sure it is the same for people that I have hosted. I feel it is a social experiment which has potential to transform peoples minds and build stronger communities worldwide.
