Overview
About Me
I work in film/tv plus lots of projects building things. I live on the beach. I recently moved to St. Augustine from NY, I was living in Manhattan and Brooklyn the past 13 years and decided to try a change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people. I recently remembered that Couchsurfing exists and logged back in; It had been a few years and I missed some requests so my apologies if this was you.
Interests
I'm a freelance colorist/digital imaging technician so I love anything related, I like to cook, fall/winter activities but also summer nights drinking wine with friends. I still love making the occasion prank phone call and taking my cats on road trips!
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy creating films more than I do watching them; Jeux d’enfants and Bottle Rocket are probably at the top.
After years and years of internal debate God Only Knows by The Beach Boys is probably my all-time favorite song,
Favorite TV right now is still Nathan for You and his new show The Rehearsal
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Adopted 2 amazing cats, they both choose me and not the other way around. I love them so much that I named my router after them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I work as a colorist, know a lot about macs and cameras, I liked to work on projects in my spare time involving power tools. I’m vegan and can talk about all that stuff, I’m an amateur “farmer,” which means try to grow vegetables on my balcony.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I haven’t been a couchsurfer as a visitor in quite a while, the easiest thing I can think that is helpful is get your computer/tech problems cleared up. Picking up after myself might be something helpful that I always do. Small home improvement projects are a hobby of mine, particularly electrical.
I’m not sure where this goes but if I’m hosting all that I ask is for you to give my cats a little attention, they spend more time here than I so it’s more their apartment than mine. They are like living “stuffed animals” so it’s not a chore by any means.
I have a veteran ID that allows me to bring guests into any of the National Park locations or State Parks without paying. I work from home so as long as I’m not tied up in a project I would most likely be willing to go and bring you along as a guest.
