About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take advantage of my time here in Japan and the cheap flights to other countries :)
ABOUT ME
I am someone who doesn't take life for granite. I try to enjoy life to the fullest. I have a very good understanding that we don't know how long we will be here on this earth and we never know when it will be our time. When I was 23 I ended up in the emergency room several times for heart issues. Very scary feeling being that young and having heart issues and there really being nothing you can do about it. If we meet I would be more than happy to tell you about my experience and what I do now for my heart.
I really try and take care of myself mentally and physcially without it being obsessive and still being able to enjoy life. I think life is all about finding that balance for you.
PHILOSOPHY
The golden rule treat others as you wish to be treated.
Be happy! There are so many things to be grateful for in this life.
When things make you upset just remember it really isn't that serious! Life will move one and you can either spend it being upset or move on and enjoy life :)
Spend more time enjoying the beauty of nature, the rocks, the grass, the trees, the flowers and at night time don't forget to look up and be amazed by all of the shining stars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to CS but I would love to host anyone willing to come to Yokosuka (I know it's not as exciting as Tokyo but it's only an hour train ride away) also not going to lie my place is pretty amazing haha. I will cook you dinner and my place is always stalked with plenty to drink ;)
I do have several holidays coming up and am hoping to surf for each one and get to know some really cool people who will hopefully continue to be in my life for a long time and maybe I will be able to return the favor and host them in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted 4 people to-date and every one of those experiences has been great! I enjoy hosting and being able to show people a part of Japan they normally wouldn't see and getting a chance to learn about them and their lives has been amazing.
Interests
I love being outdoors, hiking is probably one of my favorite things to do right now (I hiked Mt. Fuji 3 times this year). I enjoy exercising although I have been lazy with all my traveling recently. I'm currently living in Japan so I am enjoying doing a lot of siteseeing during the days and at nights hitting up some of the different bars/clubs and of course eating at all the different restaurants. I have found a few local favorites if you come stay with me I will take you ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies
I love them haha I mostly like comedies or action. I don't watch horror movies anymore I just find them to be too disturbing and too negative. I would prefer to watch something that will make me laugh and feel good :)
Music
I honestly can appreciate all kinds of music but my favorites are 80's music and EDM
Books
I haven't read anything fun in probably 8 years everything I read now is work related or has to do with Leadership :/.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If I had to pick just one I would say it was hiking Mt. Fuji. I hiked at nighttime and I can't truly express in words how amazingly beautiful it was to be on the mountain at night. Being above the clouds looking down into the city lights and then looking up and seeing the Milky Way Galaxy and the countless stars in the sky it was just breathtaking (all though the breathtaking could have been due to the high altitude lol) then getting to the top and watching the sunrise truly magnificent.
*Disclaimer - Hiking down the mountain is the worst! It's like an endless deathmarch of repetitiveness it sucks! However, truly worth it for the experience you get climbing up the mountain.
