Hola Couch Surfers! Michael here checking in from sunny San Francisco, USA. I lead a super active lifestyle here in California snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking and disc golfing in my free time. I've hosted over 50 people on Airbnb at my apartment in San Francisco and love meeting travelers from all over the world.
In 2012, I backpacked through South East Asia and wanted to take another epic backpacking trip ever since. Finally getting the chance to do this and look forward to meeting awesome people who are looking to host a chill dude from the USA.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just purchased my one way ticket to Stockholm for May 16th. Looking to meet up with locals from any/all locations on my trip. Will be living the hostel/budget life during the trip and hitting as many countries as possible. Current itinerary is Stockholm -> Copenhagen -> Amsterdam -> Berlin/Hamburg -> Prague -> Romania -> Greece -> Turkey -> India -> Australia/New Zealand -> Japan where I'm spending the winter as a snowboard instructor. I consider myself an experienced backpacker after traveling all of South East Asia for 7 months. Would love to meet up with outgoing people from anywhere in world.
