About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Leading the sustainability and resource recovery endeavours in Hobart's largest municipality.

ABOUT ME

Hey couchsurfers!

I'm 32 years old from Melbourne, now living and calling Hobart home.

I am a pretty avid traveler, always looking to push my own personal boundaries. I have a fascination with people and place; cultures and identity. I really enjoy getting to know other people and their stories, and creating meaningful connections.

It has been a few years since using Couchsurfing for events and hangouts whilst living abroad, booting my profile back up in December 2023 as it's certainly now time for me to return the hosting favour where I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I have one major philosophy in life;

'Don't regret anything, because everything happens for a reason'

I think it's the best way to approach anything because at any one time, the decisions you made in a given moment, you made that choice for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used this community to explore foreign places and take part in the events ran by the awesome people of this community.
I have been extremely fortunate to meet some amazing people and now friends through CS.

I am now quite settled in Hobart, and definitely keen on returning the generosity that has been provided to me when I was requesting a host in my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been lucky to meet people from so many cities, and even luckier to have had the chance to be hosted and host some amazing people!
Being hosted in various cities through CS has made my experiences all the more richer, and having people stay or shown my city is always an enriching experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took part in a Tibetan sky burial in the Highlands of Sichuan Province in China. It was a surreal experience, and one that I didn't completely understand at the time. A vivid memory that I think would be hard to surpass.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am sure I can share a laugh and smile, and definitely some stories over a coffee, tea or beer!

I really enjoying cooking, so we can definitely have a turn in the kitchen to whip up something delicious.

However, I am Coeliac, so I do keep a completely gluten free kitchen.
