ABOUT ME

Michael: I grew up in a small town about 3 hours north east of Melbourne. I moved down to Melbourne for university and love the city.

In 2010 I graduated from university and travelled around the world for 6 months before starting work. I currently work in climate change and sustainability.

Lauren: I grew up in a small town an hour further down the road than Michael. We didn't meet each other however until we were both living on campus during our university studies.

I am passionate about social justice and I am currently working in personal injury law. I have travelled for 3 months in the UK and Western Europe, and spent 6 weeks backpacking around South America. I can't wait to see more of the world!

PHILOSOPHY

We don't take ourselves too seriously, are relaxed and like to hear about other perspectives.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Michael: In 2010 I travelled around the world for 6 months. Looking back I felt my highlights were when I met and particularly when I stayed with locals. I want others to enjoy Melbourne as much as Lauren and I do and give back some of the kind hospitality I received while travelling.
