I'm Michaela! I'm twenty-two, and I grew up in the United States. I've backpacked to 20+ countries -- some of my favorite places are Hvar Island, Amsterdam, and Sydney. I'm in my last year of undergrad, studying biology with plans to attend law school after a gap year. I love taking pictures with my camera or my drone. I have a penchant for last minute flights and showing up to countries by myself. I'd love to go through customs for a country knowing I'm heading towards a new friend's place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm always down to hear BAYNK, Mura Masa, Eden, and whatever ends up on my Discovery Weekly. I'm also known to jam out to Top 40, Halsey, and the like when I can't make up my mind.

Movie wise, I love Iron Man and the entire Marvel series of movies. Paddington 1 and 2 were pretty amazing as well. La La Land and then basically any rom com from the 2000s onward, I've probably seen. To be honest, I'm that friend who has never watched x show or x movie.

Books? I read most things I can get my hands on if I have the time available. Sadly, I'm just studying for the LSATs nowadays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rented a car in Western Australia with a friend for a road trip up the coast. In a span of three days, we got breathalyzed, popped a tire (shoutout to my dad for teaching me how to do this), lost our keys in the sand dunes during a photoshoot, got our car stuck in the dunes, almost hit a kangaroo, and my friend got a speeding ticket. Somehow I made it alive, without owing the Australia government any money, and with some great stories.
