I am a very open and caring person and I love meeting new people engaging with the community wherever I go. I lived in Brazil for many years and left a piece of my heart in the community that I created there. My experience in Brazil taught me the value of traveling and exchanging experiences with others and I have been traveling ever since.

I also study medicine and am very passionate about helping the underserved and providing strong preventative care so that I can help others to live their lives in the healthiest way possible. I have a strong interest in medical anthropology and love to learn about different understandings of health in different cultures.

I love any kind of adventure, especially if it involves the outdoors. We also love to cook and share meals with new friends.

I have lived in isolated communities in Brazil called Quilombos where I have learned about the traditional practices of midwives and the strong afrobrazilian culture that is preserved in these places.

I can share the experiences I have had abroad including the work that I have done with traditional healers in Brazil and Colombia. I love to cook and would love to cook a meal for my hosts. I love to share stories and music and history as well.
