ABOUT ME

My friends say I'm flegmatic, but I don't really care :) Since I don't really understand the concept of uncomfortable silence, I may come as shy or quite at first.

WHAT I LIKE

Spending time with my friends, getting to know new people and listen to their stories, long hikes in nature, staying in the art galleries until the closing hours, animals, music, books and movies.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE

Crowdy places, high pitch sharp noises and small talk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just a few so far, but wow - all amazing! I never thought that I could meet so much great and interesting people online, some of them almost as crazy as me (they know) :)

Interests

Ex semi-pro dancer, now more of an office rat. When feeling good, singing. Always in for a mild adrenaline kick. I enjoy rock climbing, even though I'm not particulary good at it, motorbikes even though I don't have a driving licence, I tried scuba diving which was superb, now I'm thinking about hang gliding.
If you know anyone who'd be able to show me few tricks on cyr wheel, please, please let me know.
I play few instruments on a very amateur level, which doesn't keep me from playing in a band.
Sometimes I write stories, mostly with a slight fantasy/ magic realism edge.
Happiest in a company of good book and hot beverage.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classical music. For me opera is the gratest form of art, connecting every aspect of what I enjoy into one beautiful, spectaculus marvel.
But I also like old rock and punk music, I often listen to jazz and blues, and when I'm plaing it's mostly on that weird folk/ alternative/ ambient kind of wave. I really enjoy it though :)
I watch Star Wars as a religious act. Apart from that, I like Doctor Who, comics adaptations, most of Tim Burton movies, Jim Jarmusch, Guillermo del Toro and Quentin Tarantino. Sometimes I watch Svankmajer's pictures just for the heck of it.
Few books I really like: Gormenghast, Lord of the Rings, 1793, Kafka on the shore, Witcher, Swallows and Amazons and Neverending Story.
