And I always find myself coming back to this quote:

“Play your part in the comedy, but don’t identify yourself with your role!”

Interests

I always prefer to be outside, where I enjoy hiking, swimming, and exploring wooded areas. I spend most of my downtime reading, but I'm also a big fan of cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I'm very dedicated to school, where I major in Cognitive Psychology and Ancient Greek history/literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the island of Ithaki (Ithaca), Greece, on a mini-holiday by myself during the weekend of Orthodox Easter. Dropped off at the wrong port, on the opposite side of the island. Lost all access to my bank account and communication with people I knew back home or in Athens. Hitch-hiked, explored, squatted and camped outside. Barely survived several near-death experiences, like being gored/rammed by a herd of ~50 goats, or being torn to pieces by a pack of large watchdogs after sneaking into a closed dig-site. Ate nothing but a single bowl of pasta, rationed into one-third of a bowl per day until the next ferry arrived three days after my arrival on the island. Got a free ticket home in exchange for the story.
