I'm excited to return to the couch surfing community as I set off in July to explore Eastern Canada and give myself a deserved break (at least that's how I see it). After finishing school in Winnipeg MB, where I was born and raised, I boogied over to Sudbury ON for a year long post-degree internship.

My favourite part of this internship was going to Thunder Bay and working with an urban agriculture non-profit that uses food as a tool for engaging youth left out by the mainstream school and/or employment system.

I tend to be easy going, adaptable and open minded.
I try to live minimally and mindfully.
I'm often a stander or a floor-sitter.
I really love to laugh.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I first got into couch surfing in Australia in 2014. After studying as an exchange student in Melbourne, I took a semester off to farm, backpack and couch surf. Staying with locals added a meaningful, authentic layer to my travels; it helped me reflect on my own experiences and gain perspective from learning about others'. I have wonderful memories of my time with my hosts, whether that was going out and exploring with them, cooking a meal or sitting down with a drink.

I'm excited to host surfers myself someday soon, perhaps when I'm a little less nomadic.
