About Me

I grew up in southern California in the Mojave Desert, and escaped the heat when I moved to Humboldt County for college. I have loved living here with the Redwoods, the ocean, and the community of outdoorsy people that live here. I recently graduated from college and am ready to get out of the USA! I have dreamt of going to Germany for a very long time and I finally get the chance to do it October 2015! My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Munich and hopping around Europe for a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My good friends have always opened their homes to couch surfers and they have been some of the most free spirited people I have met. I am at a period in my life where I want to experience that same freedom.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to listen a little of everything, but if I had to pick a favorite genre, it'd be what I think of as modern alternative. ( yeah yeah yeahs, phantogram, jessie ware etc. )
I love the kids/family section of movies, I love a good romance, and I love movies like Mad Max that are completely opposite.
Favorite Books > Anything by Jodi Picoult, Alice in Wonderland, Frankenstein, the Twilight series and the Hunger Games series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I woofed in Hawaii for three months. I've also backpacked the Lost Coast of California which was absolutely stunning! and recommend it to anyone looking for a outdoor backpacking trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lived in California my whole life, if you're looking for some insight here, I would love to help you.

I am definitely trying to pick up the German language so definitely curious to meet up with any German speakers out there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My girlfriend and I can offer our loft with a twin bed to guests. We have a small one bedroom apartment with a loft. We live extremely close to the Arcata Plaza and can offer advice where to eat, where to hike, which beach to go to, etc. If we have time we are more than happy to take you to some beautiful sites, but her and I both work and so we prefer a couch surfer that can also be independent if we are working.

Countries I’ve Lived In
