My name is Michaela, I am from Prague, Czech Republic, and currently I am an intern at AFS á Íslandi - organization that helps youngsters learn about cultures via exchange programs. In 2009, I spent 10 months in New Zealand living in a host family so this is my second big international adventure.

Because meeting people is fun and meeting international people is even more fun! Also, I don't know that many people in Iceland so CS seems like a good way to change that. =)

兴趣

Music - singing (mostly in the shower or on karaoke), playing the guitar etc.
Badminton and squash - I suck but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. Always looking for a buddy to play with.
Aviation and airplanes - I'm a bit of a plane geek.

Music? That would be all kinds of rock - most definitely Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Pearl Jam... Also, I love classical music - Mussorgsky, Beethoven, Dvořák...
I don't really have favourite movies but just from the top of my head: Pulp Fiction, Gone Girl, Everest, The Martian or any Disney movie. I am also big on TV shows and can quote pretty much any episode of Friends. Could I BE any more annoying?
Similar thing goes for books - no real favourites but I enjoyed for example The Hundred-Year-Old Man, Orange Is the New Black, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, Fahrenheit 451, books by Neil Gaiman and anything by Robert Fulghum.
