HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have mostly hosted and enjoyed opening my home to travelers. And the little surfing I have done offered me that quite different experience of treading oh so sensitively and gratefully into someone else's home and life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost always been positive, meeting people willing to share as much as they take (more or less). However every now and then someone arrives, eats my food, drinks my beer/wine, takes whatever is on offer, and gives very little in return. Please don't request a visit if that might be your way of doing life.

Just read 'breath' by Tim Winton, also loved 'Cloudstreet'. Previously have enjoyed Ian Mackewn books like 'Saturday' and 'On Chesil Beach'.

Eclectic taste in music from rock. jazz R&B, New world, etc. currently enjoying Tea and Sympathy by Bernard Fanning, Andie and George Band, and whistling.

Just saw and enjoyed 'Broken Embraces'.
