HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am tidy, I can clean. I will cook semi-delicious food for you. I will have long hopefully not boring conversations with you to help your English or French. I can give you give you dance lessons in no particular genre, I can just really move.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never surfed on a couch. But I am looking for someone to be my guru.

Le goût des autres is my favorite film. Close runner ups are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Anything by Guy Ritchie or Scorsese. I mostly listen to underground hip hop i.e. The Grouch/Zion I, Mac Dre, Roach Gigz, Living Legends, Brother Ali... But really I'm all over the place. I can go from the Knife to Devendra Banhart (saw him live before he got famous!)to Coltrane to Prefuse 73 to Federico Aubele and finish off with some Hall and Oates!!! I read a lot of linguistics books and oddly enjoy them. I often go back to Salinger and Kerouac as classic standbys. I'm reading Murakami, la ballade de l'impossible right now...

I've seen San Sebastian at sunset. The Swiss alps and those strange tan colored cows. That pink colored light in France. I ate haggis in Edinburgh. I saw a gypsy throw her baby at tourist in Rome so she could rob them. Chocolat Fondant has burned the roof of my mouth more than once, though not in the same sitting. Macaroons are overrated, Confit de canard is not.
