ABOUT ME

I grew up on the Maine coast enjoying all things on and around the water. I went to school outside of Boston, but the best experience was my semester in Vienna, Austria. After that I changed my major to International Studies and have been traveling ever since! I made it back to Vienna for another summer, and have been all around the area. After school I moved to Armenia for 18 months, and then spent a spring sailing around the Caribbean. I have since decided to "enter the real world," and now live and work in DC.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host and meet new people.... just "surfed" for my first time in Mexico and it went great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have too much experience with CS, but have many friends that have had great luck. After CSing with a friend one time in Armenia, I made long lasting Iranian friends - people I wouldn't have met any other way. Very thankful for that, so looking for more great encounters.

兴趣

Interested in all sorts of activities that involve being outside, hopefully getting a tan and having a beer in hand. I am an enthusiastic supporter of the arts, and love attending different exhibitions and events. I'm also a fan of finding new restaurants to check out, hopefully with a roofdeck or patio.

Sailing back from the Caribbean to Maine, at one point through a day of 30 knot winds and 4 meter seas.
