ABOUT ME

Hey, Michael here :) I'm new to couchsurfing but I can't wait to get started!

I'm what passes for a law student at Lancaster University in ... well ... Lancaster, but I'm just graduating now and ready to give myself over to my Wanderlust haha. I get told I'm pretty extroverted which I like to take as a compliment and I'm a pretty social guy. My interests are pretty varied and as such so is my taste in people which helps me get along with most people; so whether you just want to lazily wander around a city, get philosophical at 3am with a bottle of wine ... or several, or hit an underground club in Berlin til dawn I'm more than happy to oblige :D If you want to know anything else or just want to chat just message me! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Don't sweat the small things and take every opportunity given - basically do everything in terms of "Will I care in 10 years?"

... Also avoid looking at your bank balance at all cost, it never leads to happiness!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I bean a surfer a few Summers ago during my Eurotrip and loved it. I'd love to host but I live in student dorms and I'd like my uni to keep me xD

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on a few meets and met with some couchsurfers, all great people! I also couchsurfed in Vienna and it absolutely made the country for me. It was an amazing experience, I loved it. Hopefully I'll have a lot more experience soon!

My interests are pretty expansive really, I like trying new things. I've just started archery and I'm really enjoying that! I love classic books and old films, you can't go wrong with Casablanca :) and in good ol' English university fashion I enjoy going out, meeting new people and drinking really far too much tequila much to my banks dismay!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing things, hmm. Well an amazing thing I've seen is a meteor shower by accident. I'd just made some new friends and we decide to go to the park at night (What 20 year old man doesn't still like the occasional slide?!) and they appeared out of nowhere when we were lying and talking on the grass. Think that was a sign of good friends to be :D

And one amazing thing I've done, well I wouldn't quite call it amazing but I did get kicked out of the United Kingdom Supreme Court for sitting in the seat of the President and putting my feet on the chair while the security guard went outside to help someone. In hindsight shouting "overruled" probably brought the security guard back quicker. Ah well, no harm in ambition xD
