我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I came from NZ to YYC on a working holiday visa. I experienced alot of things during those 1-2 years, the calgary stampede and everything else about the city is a new concept to me so that was fun.
However, time flew by pretty fast and I decided to apply for my permanent residency. I've been approved and will be moving to Toronto in July 2017.

I'm on Couchsurf because I need a place to stay for a very short term while I 'get on my feet' so to speak, get my bearings of the city and find a longer (3 months or so) term place to stay.
So an initial place to stay in would be great, don't wanna live on the streets ! ha

Watching sports (tennis, basketball, and of course ice hockey! ) , snowboarding (I'm still getting a hang of this).
Movies, TV shows (I'm kind of a junkie for both of them).
Just being with people, in a room around a fireplace, over beer & food.

Oh and I play the guitar :)

Favorite books: erm I don't read that many book :-X

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Deciding to go to Canada to pursue my long time dreams.
No one encouraged me to do this, not my friends here, not my family. They all think Canada is just a cold country with barely anybody that live in it. :D
