Overview
About Me
I can't justly describe myself. The references do a better job of describing me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I guess you can say I've caught the travel bug from when I studied abroad last year. I've found that I love to travel! I enjoy traveling with friends, meeting new people, and making new friends along the way! I find it interesting to learn about new and different cultures.
I also recognize also there is great value in understanding different cultures in terms of societal, professional, and personal growth. I welcome this diversity.
Interests
I enjoy a wide variety of activities. When I'm at home, I love to work in my garden, draw in my sketchbook, crochet, cook, and play with my cat. In the summer, I camp with my family in the white mountains. I enjoy being around water and in particular, the coast. I love to swim, dive, and surf. Animals are definitely a passion for me, especially aquatic ones. When in new places, I always like to explore the area. I also enjoy the night life with friends.
Really though, I'm always open to new activities and adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books are typically those of Stephen King. In particular The Mist, Pet Semetary, and The Shining. I also enjoy the Gone series by Michael Grant and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I also like to read manga. I wish I had more time to read, but college happens.
My taste in movies follows my taste in books. My preferred genre is horror, but I also enjoy comedies, fantasy, action, and anime. I love most productions from Studio Ghibli. I also enjoy tv shows such as The Walking Dead and Supernatural.
I enjoy a wide variety of music, but mostly listen to pop and rock. Other music I like I don't even know what the genre is.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I studied abroad in Morocco. While I was there, some friends and I went on a trip to the Sahara. When we arrived at the camp there was a snowboard, so my friends and I decided to try dune boarding. Of all of friends, I was the only one to make it to the bottom of an enormous sand dune without wiping out. I was also the least expereinced at this, as I had never gone snowboarding or done anything similar.
