ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Michael. I'm a pretty random guy who doesn't have much of a censor on my mouth, which can lead to some weird conversations. I have Taiwanese heritage and my roots are very important to me. My favorite person in the world is my Grandmother. Even though I'm in college, I still try to meet her for soup every month. She's awesome. I am a really sporty, outgoing guy. I did a lot of running (sprinting) in high school and I still do. No one ever predicts an Asian to win a race! I like trying out all sorts of new sports like surfing, snowboarding, rugby...anything really. Really I just like to enjoy myself as much as I can with people that make me laugh and don't take me too seriously.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created an account on this website because I hear that it's an amazing way to meet new people who share interests. I'm coming to Europe with my best friends and we think this is the best way to learn about the cities we're traveling to. I have a feeling my experience will be awesome, so I want to keep up the hosting when I'm back in the States!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any experience from this website, but I once crashed at a friend of a friend's place in New York. I didn't know the girl directly, but we had a great time walking through the city and I was so surprised about her willingness to help me no matter what I needed. She did have a crazy cat in heat that attacked me though...it kept trying to force my door down! cats in heat are insane! overall, great experience.

兴趣

I like sports, food, cooking, going to music festivals, and laughing. Some times I laugh so hard that I can't physically stop myself for about 5 minutes. If you can make that happen, you know we're friends. Festivals are awesome. I try to go to one every year and just soak in all the music. As for food, it's just good to eat.
