CURRENT MISSION

Jo and I are cycling 12,000(ish) miles from Seattle, USA to Ushuaia, Argentina. I'm not even that good a cyclist. Anyway, we've quit our jobs and set off on our merry way. If you get a request from us it means by some miracle we've made it to your hometown!

ABOUT ME

I reckon people would say I'm positive, inquisitive and up for an adventure; I'm open-minded and enjoy learning. I asked Jo to describe herself for this and she said "hilarious, hungry, loves a beer" so there we are.

I enjoy all the usual stuff (travelling, meeting new people, beer, cycling (we'll see how long that lasts for!) I have an extra-special geeky interest in anything and everything to do with politics and international relations. I'm always up for an adventure but also very partial to a relaxing cup of tea and a good chat at the end of the day. I enjoy being with people who have a positive spirit, warm heart and enjoy a good laugh.

When we're back in Manchester we're happy to host anyone who can brave the rain and wants to stay; don't hesitate to get in touch!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I met a French guy on a boat in Greece who was trying to walk around the world (Is a boat not cheating?) Either way, it had taken him 7 years to get to Greece so I don't think he was in any mad rush. This guy was all about the journey and he told me many entertaining stories about Couchsurfing, suggesting I get involved. So, here I am. Hola.
