HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

[I am hosting and showing you around in Cologne, and from now on I like to travel again.] [I am now in China, so you can crush on a bamboo mattress.] Time flies... London it is... would be happy to meet you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My colleague, an experienced couchsurfer, needed a place for a nice traveller to Cologne and asked me to host her. Since then I hosted great people and met even more.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Meeting people around the world, some quite poor, who share everything with you, is so remarkable. For example we followed an old caravan route in Turkey. Far away from paved roads. In a village we had a wonderful lunch in a restaurant by the lake which might be barely known amongst tourist and we were invited to the waitress’ home and to visit the mosque. They opened the mosque for us and explained everything just to have another tea with us.
