ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Michael!
I was born and raised in Miami but I live in Georgia now. My mother is German and I have spent a lot of time in Germany and do speak the language. My father is from the Islands of Honduras. I think having a diverse background really expanded my horizons and showed me there is so much more to life and people than just what is around you. I enjoy meeting all types of people and engaging in different cultures. I think I'm well educated and well rounded enough to get along with almost anyone. I've traveled Through Europe, central and south America. I love to be physically active but do enjoy those quiet moments to read a book. I am a very social person and can be a little to outgoing at times. I just love to enjoy life and am not scared of a little adventure. I'm actually looking to relocate and move to Chile. CS seems like it would be a great place to meet people and get a good perspective on life over there.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that human beings should interact with each other through voluntary agreements and without coercion force and aggression. Basically, it is the Live and let live philosophy. Do unto others as you would want done to you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled to Europe, south and central America.I didn't use this site specifically but I usually stayed with friends or friends of friends on my travels. For the most part the experiences have been great and to this day I keep in touch with a lot of people. Some have become great friends, almost like family.

Interests

I am interested in all things interesting. I like to read, enjoy philosophy, sports,music, water, the ocean, laughing, conversation, basically I go through life with an open mind to it all.If it arouses my curiosity and I find it enjoyable, I go for it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: If I read novels I like for them to be thought provoking, other than that I am into reading a lot of non-fiction. Favorite Books: The moon is a harsh mistress, Totally incorrect, Brave New world, 1984, Liberty defined, Animal Farm, The law.

Nothing spectacular. Climbed mountains, Dirt biked across Costa Rica, just stuff like that...

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be able to engage in dialogue on many topics but as far as having an area that I can teach it would have to be in my profession of Electrical Transmission and my philosophy of life which is rooted in the ideas of liberty.
