ABOUT ME

I have spent 8 weeks volunteering at Kwantu and it has really been the best 8 weeks of my life. It is such an incredible environment to work in. The rangers who you work alongside are so supportive and you really see the difference that you make over your stay whilst learning so much about conservation in South Africa. The accommodation is always clean and the food is great, all dietary requirements are well catered for. I am already planning my return trip and would definitely recommend volunteering at the reserve

Interests

My time at Kwantu has been the most amazing experience of my life. I've learned more in two months there than in all the time I've spent in biology lessons!
The staff was friendly and helpful, the scenery incredible, the work fun and instructive and when I left Kwantu last monday, instead of feeling that I was returning home, I felt like I was leaving home behind. I highly recommend it to anybody that's interested in nature and conservation.
