ABOUT ME

I am an international photographer in search of the unusual and unexpected. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and sharing my passion for photography has been my main focus over the past year and a half. I used to be in the mortgage business and when the economy came crashing down around 2007 I pretty much lost everything. I reinvented myself as a photographer because I love adventure and love working with different types of people; I feel like I have found my calling. An old bluesman from Tallahassee, Florida by the name of Charles Atkins once told me, "Boy, whatch you know 'bout love no how?" That pretty much sums it up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently traveling over the next 6 months collaborating with many different types of people in the photography business. I can give back to the community through my work as a photographer. Photography can be a powerful medium and my goal is to use couchsurfing not only as a place to meet incredible people along my journey, but help inspire others through my experiences and try to inspire others to shoot.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences have been through my friends that have been offering their couch to many travelers. Now their friends have become my friends. It's amazing how this truly works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thailand touched me by the beauty of the land and people. Exotic, dangerous, wonderful smells and some not so pretty smells. It gave me the courage to explore the uncharted...go, seek, get a charge out of life.

I also spent two years living in Medellin, Colombia. An incredible experience I will have to tell you about over a beer or photo session.

Teach, Learn, Share

What do I have to give to the couchsurf community? My artistic side would say: off camera flash photography or showing you how to play some mean licks on the guitar. I love teaching what I'm passionate about. My business side...I have a business mind as well...would be able to offer support in that area. Oh..important: show you the amazing St Pete...water, boating and secret beaches.
