About Me

I got the idea to join Couchsurfing community during my exchange studies in the US. That's why I am not hosting and why I haven't hosted anyone yet. I am staying at the student dorms right now. :(

So, I am an exchange student, interested in Science, Engineering, Traveling and meeting new people. Back at my home university, I am a volunteer in the Erasmus Students Network which aims to help exchange students during their study abroad.
Internationality, helping others, and sharing different cultures is in my blood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to save money. At least that was the initial idea. Now I know I want to meet interesting people and see (mainly cities, culture, etc.) with the help and comments of people living in those places.

I enjoyed Couchsurfing in the US so much. I want to give it back to the community. My hosting opportunities are limited; however, I will try to do my best.

Interests

I don't know, what to say...

  • traveling
  • cycling
  • hiking
  • engineering
  • science
  • nature

Music, Movies, and Books

Sci-fi, i.e. Isaac Asimov. But I don't read much. I also don't watch movies. But I love podcasts! Mainly about science, nature, animals, engineering, space, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the 2nd highest mountain in Taiwan. That was probably my biggest "traveling" challenge ever. Or going for two exchanges in a row, to two completely different countries, and being for a year away from home, my family and friends...?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my European and Czech culture and some stories from Taiwan. And if you are interested, I can share pictures from Taiwan (and Japan). I have a lot of them!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have no idea :(
Maybe my opinions, the point of view, culture, Czech language :D, and ("knowledge")
In the worst case, I can try to cook a traditional Czech meal... :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Japan, Poland, Slovakia, Taiwan, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Taiwan, United States
