I'm Mike and I live in a small town in Czech Republic, Třebíč. I'm one of those people who try everything new and explore. I'm more of an introvert guy, although meeting new people all-over the world is one big dream for me and I look forward to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Only one reason. To visit every country on this earth.

Interests

In my spare time I always find a time for a good workout. It's about two years I started going to the gym. Before that I used to play classic sports like footbal, floorball or hockey. Since now I'll gladly spent several hour before TV screen watching NHL or just go to local Hockey Stadion.

Another of my big interests is music, not just listening but I perform on my own. I was playing flute and clarinet. For a few years I found joy in learning more instruments at one time so currently I am playing also guitar and bass guitars, piano and saxophone.

I'm into history, I used to work as a tour guide in Jewish town in Třebíč so I'll gladly take you for a tour if you ever visit. That's why my first stop in a country I visit is in a museum.

And I can't forget beer and coffe, not like I'm addicted on alcohol, however coffee? Kinda different. Currently I work in a local coffee/beer shop, similar to barista during day and bartender during night. To sum it up, I would like try new thinks, same as trying new beers and coffees.

Music, Movies, and Books

Despite my "on my own" performing torture rituals with my musical instruments, I listen to almost everything, starting with Mozart and Vivaldi, through Jazz, Blues, Rock and a bit of Pop too.

Teach, Learn, Share

For now, I study at local grammar school. Next year I'll try to get to a university in Prag, dentistry if possible. For now I am already accepted in some schools for my GPA and success in some nerdy competitions.
