About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to TRAVEL, to LEARN,to meet YOU

ABOUT ME

As my old teacher used to say - "variety is the spice of life". I learned this lesson well and since then I've been a stand-up comedian, shoe salesman, computer repairman, math teacher, roof sweeper, construction labourer, security guard,PR representative, magazine editor, webpage administrator, forex trader,OXFAM volunteer and an actor. I worked in a law practice, chocolate factory,in fridge factory and as an emcee and newspaper salesman.

Now decided being a lawyer for some time specializing in commercial relations in maritime industry.

I find learning, travelling and meeting new individuals the most pleasurable aspects of my life.

I enjoy getting to know foreign languages,at the moment - English, Spanish and French.

What else can I say about myself...I believe that to some extent it is true that the more etiquettes you have for yourself, the dumber they make you so that's enough of self-description.

Anyway if you'd like to get to know me better just write me a message - I answer them all.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing ever happens to people who keep saying "no".

I am also a fan of Douglas Adam´s words ´DON´T PANIC´ inscribed in large friendly letters on the cover of Hitchhikers guide to galaxy:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

FANTASTIC!

Couchsurfing, in my case, is one of those rare experiences which turn out to be a million times better than expected.

Every single time was different - you can read more about them in the references I left people whom I surfed with.

Interests

good stand-up comedy, especially this by Robin Williams,George Carlin,Chris Rock and Krzysztof Piasecki,

music - the stranger and more genre-mixed, the better. I can recall enjoying spanish folk-metal,symphonic techno and sea shanties.

anything related to time travel, black holes and the end of the universe

- learning, learning - especially on MY OWN mistakes - when the shit hits the fan I say "Bring it on!"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had hitchhiking-camping-couchsurfing trip in England during which I:
-slept in the woods
-came across a movie set
-walked a lot (>100km) and hitch-hiked even more ;-]
-met FANTASTIC people
-learned lots and lots of useful life-hacks

Sept ´09 went to Mallorca for 2 amazing weeks and, as far as my humble existence goes, if I ever fell in love with anything or anyone - it was with this Island and its People :)

Then in mid' 2010 - started "100pa po morzu" project and walked 100km of polish beach in one walk,

2010-2011 moved to Spain for a year.

2012-2013 went to a huge international lawyer olympics in Vienna, got an amazing but crazy time consuming job

2013/2014 season was spent in the most freaking beautiful place of 'em all - following steps of William Wallace, visiting Monthy Python Castle(s) - THE SCOTLAND.

What future brings? Who knows...;)

Teach, Learn, Share

One of the most important things I've learned in my (short but entertaining ;) life is that if you keep doing as everyone else, you end up as everyone else. And that's NOT GOOD ENOUGH for me.

This is the greatest lesson of them all but I can also teach you some Polish if you're, like me, into languages.

Update:

NEVER.EVER. Watch a movie which has an imdb rating lower than 6.0.
