ABOUT ME

My name's Michele, though some people have deemed me the name Michalibear. :) I just got back from a ten month journey in Israel/Palestine. Half of which I spent on an ecological farm studying permaculture and the other half in Tel Aviv working with Refugees in maternal healthcare and serving Indian food to Israelis who wish they lived in India. Now I'm back livin in Ithaca, NY wishing I could be outside romping in the fall leaves all day long. I'm always looking for friends to adventure with. I'm pretty much down with anything..especially if it involves bringing spirit to the world, questioning, dancing, fresh fruits and veggies, swimming in waterfalls, hummous, kanafe, drinking tea while watching the sunset and meeting all those with open minds and hearts.

I love the outdoors... I fall in love with autumn everytime the leaves begin to change color. I adore the green and getting lost in the forest, but the tranquility of the desert holds a special place in my heart. Meeting and falling in love with new people and places is my most favorite thing to do. I like staying up late hearing stories and lives of others. I ask a lot of questions, and love to rebuild, reuse, recycle and restore. I feel passionately about human rights and women's healthcare, alternative and modern medicine. I want to be a mid-wife and deliver babies around the world, advocating for all women. I've spent much time studying hebrew and arabic...but I'm always looking to keep learning...
