About Me

Hey mate!
I am a 25 years old passionate lawyer, a guitar teacher and a die-hard believer in Jesus.
I speak 2 languages. I've obtained my lingual skills, both english and Italian, while many months of working in London.
I love hitchhiking, travelling and learning about new cultures, especially trying out various foreign cuisines !
I've visisted multiple flabbergasting places already. However, there are many yet to go to on my bucket list.
I am owner of 5 guitars and I love music, playing and singing.
My beloved bands would be Stereophonics, Pearl Jam, Alter Bridge, Hillsong United, but sometimes I also listen to Tesseract, Killswitch Engage or Dream Theater.
My great passion is weightifing and mixed martial arts, especially boxing and no-gi brasilian jiu jitsu.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason is I love travelling and meeting new exciting people with whom I can share my stories.
I share high hopes that Couchsurfing will be the tool opening new doors and posibilities in this area!

Interests

I've learned cooking while working in multiple places in my student times. I used to work as a pizza chef, pasta chef, confectioner, a burger chef, professional barrista, a barman in a classic british pub.

When it comes to music, I've been playing guitar since I was 16. For now, I play in one band and sing in the gospel group.

Martial arts, well, it just keeps me in shape and helps staying safe while travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day I was chilling in London, Kingston upon Thames, and getting ready to get to work. All in the sudden my best mate visited me, travelling on his way from Turkey to Poland.
And he said:
"Hey Mike, look what I've found - a map of West Highland Way in Scotlant, how about we grab a backpack and hit the road for a week or so"

I kindly replied:
"You're out of your mind pal. I got nothing on me, backpack, sleeping bag, a hitchiking towel. nothing."

My friend, however, was unstoppable:
"Come on mate, it will be fine"

Guess where I was 2 days later...

Yup, that's right. I Bough all the stuff, took a week off and 2 days later we were going through the biggest adventures we'd ever had back in the days - hitchhiking in the West Higlland Way with a Bottle of 10yo Glenfarclas Single Malt in my backpack.
I still keep that empty bottle just to remember that the most exciting things often come unexpected.
