Hey everybody, I'm Michel from this beautiful city called Mainz.
The unimportant things in the beginning: Currently I'm studying Maths and German language. This will probably take me another 2-3 years and I'm not even sad about that, students life is definitely an absolutely great life: Travelling, learning and last but not least going out as well, all in all just enjoying my time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Till now I did not really give it a serious try but I would like to change this now. And since it is definitely harder to get into Couchsurfing while traveling, I thought: Why not start at home and learn to be a good host for some Mainz-visitors? This will definitely help me being a nice guest afterwards.

Interests

I really love music, both playing and listening to it! I spend almost my whole free time playing music with my Indie-/Alternative-Band and also going to concerts (all types, from small jazz concerts to big rock festivals). I like going to Poetry Slams, to the theater or all this cultural stuff as well, all in all I just enjoy going out, getting to know new people, places and activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really open for almost all types of music, I couldn't even tell my favourite genre. I guess it changes from hour to hour, sometimes it's (of course) Indie-Rock, sometimes it's Jazz and sometimes it's Raggae.

In the last two years I started reading a lot of books, mostly older literature like Franz Kafka or G. E. Lessing. What I really like is first reading a drama and then going to see it at the theater.

Since I don't really watch any movies, series or TV, I can't tell someting about this.
