About Me

I am passionate about family, budget travelling, unique/interesting people and my work. Most of my free time is spent finding the "bucket list" moments everywhere and as often as I can while exploring this thing called Life!

I work in Atlanta, GA as a financial professional. I have raised four exceptionally cool kids who are now grown and with whom I enjoy a fun and close relationship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I'm still figuring out exactly what "couchsurfing" is, the idea intrigues me, so far. I travel SO much for work but it seems that I'm in and out of hotels, hurrying to the airport, on to the next meeting...it's hard to slow down and get to know others!

I'd love the opportunity to meet others who can offer their unique perspectives and share my own!

This year (November), I will be travelling in the England, Scotland, Ireland, Norway (including Longyearbyen and vicinity) and Iceland in addition to various places in the States with my girl friend the first part of the trip and my sister the last part.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It felt amazing at the time - took home a small piece of the Great Pyramid in the bottom of my purse.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn about your "world" - where you came from, where you've been and where you live! If staying with a couple or family, all the better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to share my adventures and/or perspectives - there have been a few, now that I'm older!! I think it would be interesting to exchange philosophies, most especially.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Egypt, Grenada, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Saint Martin (French part)

Countries I’ve Lived In
