About Me

I am from Marsala, Sicily, but I live in Milan since 2012. I like travelling a lot, usually without strict schedules and only with my backpack. I work as a Driver for a society of luxury rent car and write for a cinema journal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling a lot, and my job helps me doing it, at least all along Italy, Switzerland and Southern France/Cote d'Azur. I'm here on Couchsurfing to meet new people and have cultural exchanges with friend from all around the world.
Last but not least, it is a very clever and funny way of travelling!

Interests

I'm interested in cinema (I also write reviews on an online journal), art, archeology, travels of course, books and literature (any kind or genre), writing, swimming and diving

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually like listening to any kind of rock music (classic, indie, alternative, glam, hard, punk, post), progressive, metal and also classical music. I do not disdain any kind of music though.
As I wrote just before, i like Cinema very much, from Sci-fi to drama to Documentary and everything between (with the exception of the musical genre. I like only a few musicals, sorry XD). I love far east, especially Japanese and Korean cinema (and Animation).
As for Cinema, i like very much reading. I usually prefer sci-fi (Love the cyberpunk subgenre), old Classics, Historical Novels but i like literature as a whole.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A long "dance" with a Flying Gurnard during one of my apnea divings. It was incredible, also because this kind of fish produces, when you are near enough to hear it, some kind of weird sound, very similar to the one of an Owl.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For you, I can be your turistic guide, your chef (or, at least, your Cook), your gateway for italian culture and for a lot of information about my country, a storyteller about my travels, and of course I will offer my house for anyone who will be in need of a host.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Italy, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican City State
