I am fascinated by people and their homes! I love to explore anywhere and usually find the beautiful corners of world with intuition and friendly guidance.

ABOUT ME

Child care provider and mother of 2 boys - ages 16 and 21. My husband of 21 years is a physicist with the US Air Force.

People say I'm smart but I'm also lazy so they cancel each other out. I am young enough to enjoy everything accept hard partying and old enough to know when it's bedtime.

I am intuitive and spiritual and believe our world was a gift from God that should be explored and enjoyed.

We actually own a cattle ranch in Texas and it's sitting on top of oil! (The Cline Shale) Don't know how that will develop but if everything works out I'm going to build a proper guest room for couch surfers!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe all children are my children. I love feeling the thrill of discovering new corners of the world - inside and out - that reflect excellence in design and purpose. A little bridge over a stream - a tree house - a comfortable chair in a sunbeam with a blanket and good book...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few people and really enjoyed them all. I'm going to couchsurf locally - then - maybe get brave and see places I've wanted to see all my life!

Guest should stay 2 or 3 nights - but more time is possible. No smokers, no heavy drinkers, no drugs, please (I care for little kids)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome guests. Looking forward to hosting someone once a month. Wish I had a proper guest room.

Best recent experience: One surfer stopped at the grocery store and brought two bags with her. I got to try some excellent food I never would have bought for myself. The leftovers made me smile and think of her for days!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Was visited by my grandmother seconds after she died in a hospital bed a few miles away. She hugged me. She enveloped me with so much love that I was still happy days later - even as other people cried at her funeral. 16 years ago and it still feels good.

I can teach you how to spend quality time with children and not feel like you are catering to them. Both adult and child should feel completely relaxed and happy and engaged.
