ABOUT ME

My name is Michele and I grew up in a small city in the middle of Italy, 100 km south-east of Rome. After highschool, I have lived for three years in Ravenna and two in Bologna, to become an archaeologist! :D
In the meantime, I have studied abroad twice and discovered how much I like to travel, visit new places and make new friends. I have recently moved to Belgium to work for the University and I'm still trying to settle in, doing what locals do, that means drinking beers and eating chocolate! :D
I'd like to be a very good cook, but the truth is that I prefer to eat!! I always try to taste local dishes in the places where I go. For me this is an important aspect to discover when I'm travelling!

Interests

I like to play sports because it is healthy but mostly fun. I like football, dodgeball, swimming, volley, ping-pong, but also practice new sports: in the next future I want to try water polo.
I love spent time in the open air, hiking for example. With my studies, I often had the opportunity to visit beautiful landscapes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock, alternative and indie rock music, in particular Imagine Dragons, Alt-J, Bastille, The Black Keys, Fall Out Boys, Foo Fighters, Metallica and many others.
I'm addicted to Tv series. The list is too long of all those I saw and those I'm still seeing (Dexter and Breaking Bad are some of my favorites).
I like also see movies: also in this case the list is so long!!!
In the last few years unfortunately I hadn't much time to read books, apart from those needed for my studies. I'd like to start to read more as before. I really like historical novels. I didn't read the last book of Ildefonso Falcones yet. I can't believe it!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a trekking in Malta in flip flops in a beautiful place. But the fun thing is that I had my trekking shoes in my hands!!! Too tiring having to put them back!!!!!
