Hello, I'm Michele, pronounced Mikele.I'm passionate about travel and everything related to it. I've traveled (backpacking) to every country except one!
Guess which one I'm missing! I'll go there too, but I have to wait a couple more months
I thrive on adventure and constantly seek new challenges. I prefer crossing land borders rather than flying into countries, staying with locals through couch surfing instead of opting for hotels, exploring nature spots over cities, engaging in trekking and climbing rather than sitting in a bar, savoring street food instead of dining at restaurants, and uncovering hidden gems rather than visiting touristy spots.

PHILOSOPHY

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future.
