Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best experience - driving around the country in a Volkswagen Bus and staying with friends and camping.

During this trip, I was touched by the generosity of one individual. I has made a reservation to camp at a campground and it turns out I was the only camper registerd. The host decided I shouldn't be alone for the weekend so called up 10 local people and convinced them to stay for the weekend. We ended up having an amazingly fun weekend.

Interests

Outdoors and the weather. I love watching the environment around me change - from rain to sun, from clouds to a clear day.

Anything outdoors - running, hiking, mountain biking, wakeboarding in the summer, snowboarding in the winter. I did try kit surfing but I was really bad at it and it scared me!

Another interest - hanging out with friends, sharing good food and playing games. Just having a great simple time with people.

My most current interest - the environment and how do we help clean up the mess from the last 100years.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I like - country, pop, opera (yes I do like it) and bad dance/disco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a tough choice between visiting the Terra Cotta warriers in China and Dolly World (Dolly Parton's theme park) in Tennessee. The world has a wide range of options and their is good in all.
