About Me

At work, I remotely run projects. I'm the senior project manager of an e-commerce company. What's great about the setup is I get to work anywhere with reliable internet.

For fun,
I read. A lot. I think it's one of my greatest distractions. I often find myself not being fully able to concentrate on tasks or refusing to go outside because I want to finish what I'm reading.

I travel. It's a great way to discover more about myself, people, and the world.

I volunteer. I've been a volunteer medic of the emergency response team of Philippine Red Cross for almost a year now. All medical things I know, I just learned from hands-on experience.

When bored, I chase my cat around the house. She's cute.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm exploring this new avenue to meet people while traveling. I've always been an introvert and usually keep to myself during my travels. I think this would be a great way for me to finally interact with other travellers or some locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just generally enjoy music with a good beat, books that are engaging, and movies that have nothing to do with horror/thriller genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite DIY adventures was in Cebu, Philippines. I stayed in the city so I had to wake up at 2AM to catch the earliest bus to get to swim amongst a sardine run in Moalboal. Got on a 1-hour motorbike ride to get to the gatorade-blue waters of Kawasan Falls by lunch. Then, took another almost 2-hour long motorbike ride to reach Osmeña Peak, the highest peak in Cebu, to catch the sunset. Started the day by swimming with one million sardines, and ended the day with a one in a million view.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not that good of a teacher, but I can teach some of my favorite Filipino recipes. I love learning more about people I meet and finding out what their motivations are. I enjoy sharing stories of my experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking. I also enjoy sharing stories, having conversations, and listening to anything people want to share. I'm not into politics so I can't contribute much on those kinds of conversations -- but I enjoy when people share their thoughts on it. Haha
