I'm here trying to "suck out all the marrow out of life"! (Henry David Thoreau but also Dead Poet's Society)

Just moved back to Indy from Northern France and I already miss being able to travel, and especially meeting fellow travelers! So I'd love to hear from people passing through Indy.

If you hang out with me it's like this - I will inevitably laugh a lot and try to make you laugh, but I also truly love listening to people, especially when it seems like they really need someone who will listen attentively. I just care very much about spending authentic time with people, however best suits our moods!

Also one of my favorite things in the world is to go see live bands and just get lost in the music. Preferably while drinking beer and getting to laugh and joke with a friend when I'm not deeply entranced :)

Staying in hostels is fun, but I prefer being around people who are truly interested in getting to know others and share special moments. That's why I love the Couchsurfing community - the open-mindedness, kindness, and love of people and life that I've found through hosts and events has been wonderful, so I'm always up for another experience!

Going to Hangout Music Festival in Alabama - I got to see Florence and the Machine perform on the beach and it was just pure bliss, one of the best weekends of my life

Spending a week in Copenhagen - I've traveled to a fair number of cities at this point but none of them have touched me like that one did! Due almost entirely to the fact that I stayed with amazing CS hosts and went to CS events

Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and learning to surf at Byron Bay while I was studying abroad in Sydney
