I work for a youth unemployment charity which I love. In my spare time I enjoy a bit of hula-hooping and learning new tricks, playing league netball with my team or just chilling out with a good book, film or TV series. Summer = festivals! I love this time of the year :)
When I can I love going away and really enjoy solo backpacking - it throws me out of my comfort zone which always excites me. I recently went to Sri Lanka for a few weeks - amazing country!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and one of the best parts about travelling is meeting wonderful people all over the world who are so excited to welcome you to their own homes and show you around their country. I would like to continue this and also welcome visitors to my part of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a good boogie to most music but funk, soul and disco gets me really going! I love going to festivals in the summers and gigs in the winter, big ones as well as going to see local, grassroots artists.

I've just finished reading Shantaram which is easily now in my top 5 reads. I adore Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy and other epic fantasies such as Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games. I have recently finished Scar Tissue which was a bit mind-blowing but a great read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job, gave up my house, friends and family to do some solo travel - scary at first but so pleased I did it and enjoyed every second!
