About Me
I'm a grad student right now, living my best life in the city of Atlanta. I'm from VA and went to Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) so I love hiking and being outdoors. I love to travel and hearing people's stories so love to get to connect with new people any chance I can. On a typical Saturday, you can find me drinking coffee on my porch and then off exploring some new part of town or getting drinks with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because traveling can be really stressful and expensive and I love the idea of interdependently sharing the resources we all have in community with each other! Also, people are generally awesome and I love sharing/hearing travel stories any chance I get.
Music, Movies, and Books
My current top picks on Netflix are Friends (always), The Mysteries of Laura, and any sappy Romantic Comedy I can get my hands on. Other favorites are How I Met Your Mother, Grey's Anatomy, and the Bachelorette.
I love lots of different kinds of books and am always looking for great recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I signed up to go on a hiking trip with an outdoors group in Stavanger, Norway and nobody else showed up so I got a private-guided sunrise hike to one of the most beautiful mountains overlooking a fjord I've ever been on. 10/10 would recommend: https://outdoorlifenorway.com/preikestolen-sunrise-hike/
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to sit and chat or to keep to myself, depending on your availability. I'm very neat and am happy to help around the house in any way I can. I'm super flexible!
