And there you have it, the extent of my German. Kidding. I can also talk about my Lieblingsfarbe and how often I smoke cigarettes (niemals, for the record). Don't expect much more of me than that though.

In all seriousness, I am trying to learn German. After traveling for the last two years I somehow ended up here in Deutschland. Not entirely sure how that happened (actually, it was a book). I figure I might as well try and learn the language while I'm here though (in order to read said book in its original format).

I'm couchsurfing because I've couchsurfed before (through fellow travel mates) and it was a jolly good time. But really, I live in a small village east of Frankfurt and as much as I love spending all of my free time in the surrounding forest, I can't exactly improve my knowledge of the German language or culture by talking with trees. I tried once. Both myself and the tree had a good cry over it.

I plan to visit many of the museums in Frankfurt throughout the duration of my stay here. Perhaps you're an art enthusiast as well? I knew we could make this work.
