Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling a lot lately in order to try to get myself out of the box and focus on music and art more. I'm trying to visit new cities and play my music in new places. After a few organic experiences meeting musicians who let me crash, I decided to get on this app and try out going to new places. So far, I've been having a great time getting inspired and seeing more of the country.

Interests

I'm a singer songwriter who dabbles in video filming and editing. I enjoy traveling in order to get a change of pace in experiences because I find this helps me write songs better. I house sit and pet sit. I love animals and animal caretaking. I am trying to learn to speak better Spanish as I took 3 years of it in high school but don't use it reliably enough. I used to be a behavior analyst and am a trained therapist but wanted to get out of the box and do art after 7 years in the field. I love meeting new people and having new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've finished 2 triathlons.

One time when I was waiting tables I ended up accidentally eating Travis Barker's burger after he left early without eating his meal

One time after a Black Flag show, Greg Ginn (the guitarist) invited me to come back to Texas with him.

I'm happy to teach guitar to anyone who wants a lesson or some pointers. Happy to take care of any animals you have in the house, provide food or cook meals.
