Hi, my name is Michelle. Having one parent from each country, I'm lucky to call two places home: the US and Iran. I grew up outside of Boston and lived on the east coast until 2017, when I moved to Seattle. I recently moved to Vermont and am about to start my Ph.D. in Sustainable Agriculture. I'm passionate about making agriculture more sustainable and profitable for small farmers. I love meeting new people, cooking, going for hikes and riding my bike.

I'm excited to take a month long trip in August before I start my program!

I am traveling with a college friend through Portugal, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Netherlands! We are hoping to meet great new people. I would love to stay with you, and welcome you if you ever find yourself in the US! I've had friends who hosted and I've always wanted to do the same.
