Hi, my name is Michelle and I'm from Germany!

When I was traveling through Southeast Asia in 2017 for about 5 months I tried out Couchsurfing for the first time. I met incredible kind and open-minded people along this journey. Since then my passion for traveling became even more stronger than it ever was before.
Right now I am studying and alongside I am taking every opportunity to travel in my freetime.
I always have been very interested in meeting people from different countries with different cultures. I hope to learn more about our beautiful planet and it's people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love different cultures and hope that I meet kind and interesting people along my journey. And of course it's always better to get advices and suggestions from locals:)

Interests

I love music and dancing. I like Zumba and started learning Salsa now.
During wintertime I love skiing & snowboarding.
And of course traveling! Exploring new places, having a good time with friends and getting to know new people.

I really am the type of person who likes mostly every kind of music (except Techno - I dont know why, but maybe you can change that haha)
I really adore Reggaetón, Salsa! 💃
But also Guns n‘Roses, Bob Marley, Nirvana, ABBA, Queen, Falco, and so many others!
I love adding new songs I got to know during traveling to my playlist. But all in all nothing‘s better than life music.

Movies: My alltime favorite is Grease
And I’m a bit addicted to movies that are based on the novels from Nicholas Sparks (Im kinda romantic sometimes)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking through SEA for almost 5 months was an amazing and adventurous experience. I've seen stunning and breathtaking places and met so many kind and lovely people there.

I love to learn more about cultures and also sharing mine with others. I can teach you a bit of german if you want, or some stories of my travel experiences...

I wish I could share with you how to cook german food, but unfortunately I’m really not good at cooking. Buuut, I can take you to nice food places and give you some recommendations.
